"I felt that I simply had to write to say how impressed I was with Russell Glover's work on my new shower room today.

I have never before written such a letter, at any stage of any project, about anyone that has done work on my flat, but after a week in which I had been very happy with the work that Russ had done, and how he had gone about doing it, I was really rather astonished to come home this afternoon and to see what he had done while I was out.

As you know, I had asked that the punching of the holes through the wall, in association with the fitting of the under-floor heating, should be done in such a way that it would minimise damage to the wallpaper. Russ did this work today, as he said it was a noisey job, so better done while I was out. He scored points for that consideration, but on top of that he made the two holes so very neatly that I cannot imagine it would be possible to do it better. Bu, even more impressively, he drove the channel on the inside of the wall up in the very furthest possible position that it could conceivably go, right in a rather inaccessible corner. That, most certainly, completely met my request that the switch and isolator should be removed as far as possible from the door, with the isolator potentially masked by a chest of drawers, but in meeting my request he must have found the creation of that channel extremely awkward. I was very impressed."
